This is a great place to roam through for a couple of hours. There are over 100 antique dealers and booths to look through.

Take One-Peter

I have driven by Old Glory for many years and had no idea that they were there! They have a lot of crazy stuff from baseball cards to vintage hats from the 1920's as demonstrated by the pictures of Emily! (#oldgloryfrederickmd #oldgloryantiquemarketplace #antiquesinfrederickmd)

Take Two-Emily

I loved exploring this place and we spent close to two and a half hours there! There were a lot of high-quality items to look at (a lot of Fiesta ware, jewelry, crystal, etc.) I went a little crazy with purchases. One item I bought was a beautiful crystal candelabra. I also bought some beautiful earrings from the 20's.

Eat, Drink & Be Merry

We didn't stop off anywhere afterwards like we normally do as we just wanted to do a quick few hours day trip.

The Wrap

Frederick has a lot of antique stores and malls to explore and you can certainly do this in a few hours in you don't want to do a full-day trip.

About Us

Peter and Emily are both native Washingtonians, both having grown up in Bethesda, Maryland. Crazily enough, they met online during the 2020 pandemic and have been inseparable ever since. What started out as a "date" day trip within a couple of weeks of meeting each other, turned into something so much more. The two decided they were having so much fun, they did another day trip the next weekend. And soon they realized it was a great escape from the work week to go explore places within a couple of hours from D.C. It also was a great way to do something outdoors and maintain space during the Covid-19 craziness. What's not to love about being outdoors, getting fresh air and catching the trade winds in your sails... exploring... dreaming... discovering...
